"Ince I have been in Hungary, my pictures became merrier, more colored and balanced. In St. Petersburg, Russia - partially because of the academy there - I used almost only the color grey and its shades. But I am an optimistic chap, I try to give faith and hope to others with my pictures."

Alim Adilov was born in the Uzbek capital, Taskent in 1963. He completed his studies at the Russian Academy of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg, which has a high reputation in Europe. Among his masters Mojsenko and Vitrugatskij have to be mentioned for their respected expertise. Adilov completed a course at the London Academy between 1991 and 1993. He has been living and working in Hungary since 1993. He is a member of the National Society of Hungarian Artists.

In his oil paintings he portrays his dreams of the landscapes and life of his homeland or the world of The Bible. "In front of our rushing lives Alim Adilov places the types of paintings glittering with the miracles of the nature and the goodness of The Creator. His paintings brave the turbulence of the stormy world, the fading times and ages as towers."
